THE City Government of Bacolod is temporarily suspending the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) mass vaccination program for healthcare workers and senior citizens at the Cinema lobby, South Wing of SM City, Bacolod on Friday, May 7, 2021.
The Covid-19 Vaccination Council (CoVac) in an advisory said it needed to reassess its protocols and procedures, including crowd control, to implement a more orderly and safer flow of vaccination.
The vaccination, which started on May 3 with a daily schedule from 10 a.m. to 5 p. m., aimed to accommodate remaining healthcare workers, senior citizens and persons with comorbidities who have yet to receive Covid-19 vaccine jabs.
