Many people in North America appear to be allergic to one or more of a family of preservatives used in personal care products and household cleaners implicated in the global spread of allergic contact dermatitis.
Diagnosis requires careful consideration of mimicking conditions and a broader list of differential diagnoses in those infants with poor growth or frequent infections, Dr. Elaine Siegfried said.
