The BJP accused Congress of demeaning President Droupadi Murmu. Smriti Irani said, Chowdhury used the term knowing well that it demeans Murmu and her office and is against India s values.
Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday took exception to being referred to as 'maharaj' by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and said "my name is Jyotiraditya Scindia".
"The frequent terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir show that the Government's policy on Kashmir has completely failed", the leader of Congress in Lok Sabha said.
