Out to computers that trains are not running from this station, fremont or union city. Commuters have been told to head to hayward bart or bay fair if you are going to San Francisco. We spoke with one man headed to san bruno this morning who says he understands why the trains are shut down but its still frustrated. Its going to affect me. Im probably going to be half hour or hour late. It seems like as soon as the bart people got what they wanted, it was more accidents and more delays and stuff like that, which i dont understand. Bart Officials Say a train bound for richmond had a person on the tracks just before 11 30. Investigators are not sure why they are there or what that person was doing on the tracks at the time. But again, just to reiterate, there is no service between south hayward and fremont. The hayward stop is different than the south hayward station, its the end of the line this morning. We thought the investigation might be wrapped up but its still affecting service for the start of the commute right now. We talked to bart. They are offering limited service to San Francisco from the bay fair stop. South hayward is the only station shut downright now. They are also not able to run any Shuttle Bus Services now between union city and fremont but you can use ac transit. All the buses are on time with no delay. All other mass transit looks good. For generations the San Francisco waterfront has sparked epic battles over form and function, most recently was the very loud public takedown of the 8 washingto condos, the Warriors Arena plan, even the bridges namesake. Now out of the foggy night sky, a consensus on a display of lights nearly two miles long. Its quiet. Its elegant. So why wouldnt you keep it . I say keep it, yeah. I think it would be cool.
