Youre watching kron. 4 news at all. Now at 5 tragedy in the east bay, a fiery car crash kills a family of 4. Thanks for being with us tonight on kron. 4 news at 5, im grant lotus and im vicki liviakis. We still dont know much but in the last half hour we have learned that 4 people were killed, 2 of them adults and 2 children based on the layout of the aftermath believed that speeding was involved. A situation not uncommon in this area. We know just one car was involved in the crash. Police say its some sort of electric vehicle, but they are not saying what make or model yet. The crash happened around 9 oclock last night at the area where foothill road switches from 2 lanes down to just one us just south of stone ridge drive the car veered off the road. It slammed into a light pole and then barreled into an oak tree. The tree and the ground around it are burned out.
