people. and that introduced complacence. and then you have the backlash that is also pretty immediate. and that drumbeat of replacement theory. and the critiques of critical race theory. and so on. many white people are very susceptible to those messages. so, it is that complacency that is built into the system. tim, what kinds of conversations to white folks need to be having, with one another, to address the scourge of white supremacy and gun violence in this country. especially when a lot of this violence is explicitly racially motivated? the conversations have to be ones that are committed to truth as the far-right is to lying. part of the pushback in schools is about covering up not only the history of racism but the contemporary reality. so they mow majority of us have those concerns about racial justice, we have to be talking to our children about the
