County of santa clara. Thats 36 more cases than i reported on monday. I have signed a mandatory order prohibiting public or private gatherings of more than 100 people. Santa clara county takes dramatic action. Public schools in Santa Clara County will close to student attendance beginning march 16th through april 3rd, 2020. Each of these institutions are giving guidance, doing it frankly with the heavy heart because there are tradeoffs with every decision that we make. I recognize we are in very difficult times.
