Parma council considers sewer district fund contribution to resident lake study Updated Jan 28, 2021; Facebook Share PARMA, Ohio More than 30 years after the private, man-made Hollenbeck Lake last underwent repairs, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) has notified three property owners that its Class 1 dam needs work. “The owners are required to submit an emergency action plan and also make improvements to the dam itself to ensure the safety of residents in case of a dam breach,” Ward 5 City Councilman Allan Divis said. “If the owners cannot come to an agreement, it’s my understanding the lake may have to be drained and the residents would lose the lake,” he said. ....
