Now its time for a look back at the day in parliament. Hello, and welcome to wednesday in parliament. Coming up argy bargy in the commons as this Prime Minister faces questions about the next one. Will she finally act in the best interest of these aisles, not the conservative party, and admit that neither of the candidates for office should ever be elected Prime Minister . But shes not having any of that. Either of the candidates for this high office would do a damn sight betterjob than anybody sitting on those benches. Also on the programme a committee look at ways to improve mens well being. And. Puffins. Spring is carnival time for puffins. They get to these safe cliff tops on farms and some of the other 27 islands and turn from solitary birds to wildly social courting birds intent on finding a mate and creating the next generation of puffins. Average person couldnt have done. He was a very articulate person even though hes not known generally for that and hes a very likable person and a decent person. And eventually he was appointed to the court of appeals to for three years after i had been appointed. And so we find ourselves being often competitors to megatrends. We have conversation about it. Kind of hard to do your regular work without knowing what is going on here. And so we agree to it. Each of us agreed to tell the other one if we heard anything about the nomination. Our opportunity to get the job. So about three or four days after we had that conversation, the friday after text giving, president ford called me up. My secretary was not there. Explain the was going to nominate me. Was very pleased and told himself. He talked for a minute and then he said were going to announce this about 5 00 this afternoon here in washington. Registration system and appear to at least have access to that data. The question is what can they do with that. With iranians, according to ratliff, they were behind a series of emails. Democratic voters were getting these emails. Florida and alaska and one other state. They were being threatened to say you have to change your registration. Well be watching you. That was the concern that the fbi had about these threats that voters got around this country. I have never seen the fbi do a hurry press conference like this. It gives you an indication of how worry they are of the next couple of weeks and the potential for Foreign Countries to try to do influence operat n operations that could cause chaos in this country. I want to read something that john ratliff said at this press conference. I find it confusing. He said to that end we have already seen iran sending spoofed emails designed to intimidate voters and damage President Trump. You may have seen some errreporg on this or you may
National government and irresponsible behavior in the financial markets. We can explain how europe has worked to fix the crisis. What we wouldve lost if we have not succeeded in upholding the Single Market. Because the Single Market was under threat and upholding the common currency. Because at some time ago people were predicting the end of the euro, the common currency. If we had not coordinated Recovery Efforts and employment initiatives, where would we be now . Some people will say that europe is forcing governments to cut spending. But we can remind voters that the government that goes way out of hand way out ahead of the crisis. Not because of but despite europe. We cannot do the most workable in our societies and our children, they would end up paying the price if we do not persevere now. The truth is that countries inside the euro or outside the euro, in europe were outside europe, they are making efforts to curb their very urban public finances. Someone campaign, saying that t
