Mumbai, April 1 : Tata Motors on Thursday reported a sale of 66,609 units of vehicles in March.
The sales were six-fold higher compared to 11,012 units sold in March 2020. Sales were severely hit in March last year as Covid cases surged during the period across the country.
The company sold 36,955 commercial vehicles in the domestic market last month, way higher than 1,601 units sold a year ago, showed a statement.
On a quaterly basis, the Tata Motors sold over 1.91 lakh vehicles during the January-March period, compared to over 1.01 lakh units during Q4 FY20. ....

Tata Intra V20 compact truck launched in Nepal at Rs 19.75 lakh


Tata Motors has 
launched its smart compact truck, the Intra V20, in Nepal, in association with its sole authorised distributor there, Sipradi Trading. This is the first compact truck, conceptualised and engineered on a new modular platform.
The Intra V20 is priced starting from NPR 19.75 lakh (Rs 12.39 lakh).
The Tata Intra V20 is powered by a 1.4-litre diesel engine that develops 70bhp and 140Nm of torque, and comes with a ‘Gear Shift Advisor’ to help achieve optimum fuel efficiency. Its 5-speed gearbox, with cable shift mechanism that can ensure a smooth and hassle-free driving.
According to Tata Motors, the small truck delivers strong performance, increased productivity, along with a safe and comfortable driving experience. The Tata Intra cabin offers additional space with its walkthrough cabin layout, better seating ergonomics and an advanced digital instrument cluster.
