This is according to Jay Socol, who is the director of communications for the City of College Station. While after the runoff election on Tuesday declared no winner due to the amount of mail-in ballots and military ballots still out, only three of the possible 1,097 mail-in ballots were received by the Wednesday deadline. John Nichols was in the lead by 1,475 votes. With not enough mail-in votes received, Craig Regan will not be able to overcome Nichols lead.
