Reporter the fire is burning in a remote canyon in the hills behind me, but Kings Mountain road is closed except for to locals making it in and out on this side of the fire. The fire has been burning for several hours in the in the western mateo hills. It has burned 38 acres, and it ignited overnight when the thunderstorms moved through.
