>> good morning, guys thank you for having me. it is true the reality, in new york city and nassau county crime is up. 38% is if you look certain communities 700% and car thefts, 120% with catalytic converters. these are the realities we are facing but it's plain and simple comic new york city, i will go and fight to get federal daughters for the police department. it is common sense. the democrats have lost their minds when it comes to coddling criminals and leaving all of us at the mercy of these criminals back on the streets. that is why the campaign is getting traction in the third district. >> todd: george when you talk to a registered democrat voters who say they are voting for you, 's crimes a reason they are changing and leaving their party? >> todd: no, not even close. let me explain why, the point of specifically organic chemistry class is to weed out the pretenders from the pretenders. i know this all too welcome i was pre-med during my freshman year of college. by sophomore fall when i took organic chemistry and had a f plus i realize medicine and the sciences were not going to be for me. so, this is important because you want the best of the best as your doctor, as your engineer, as your scientist. you don't want somebody, i will try it out to see if it works. that is what a lot of kids are doing in it when they don't make it in feedback, all of a sudden it's the professor's fault. >> carley: i went to quinnipiac in the health science program and a lot of my friends took chemistry and then became business majors. though, i do have to say if i was paying $60,000 a year to send my son to nyu, i would want the guy writing the text book teach chemistry. i don't know what happened here may be the truth is in the middle, but it is true colleges are coddling students to start with safe spaces, trigger warnings, therapy animals and now it does feel like the students have more power than the professors and the administrators appear at the adults are scared. >> todd: they treat them like paying clients and in a restaurant and they don't like the mail so they send it back. that is not how this works, you are in that environment to learn how to do 18-22 when you get out of college, how would you handle will come when you hit the real world. >> carley: the spokesperson for nyu, the course evaluation, teachers course evaluation was by far the worse not only among members of the chemistry department but among all the university's undergraduate science courses. he was an older teacher, i think he was 83. he was apparently partially retired. may be his bedside manner wasn't the greatest. the best teacher is one who engages in students and don't yell at them or being dismissive. so maybe a little bit: bead type thing. >> todd: okay, if you are a doctor is every patient going to be perfectly calm when they address you? >> i agree with the governor in this regard that covid-19 shot for kids should be at this point just not mandatory. it should be something up to the parents to decide what they want to do for their child or children and similar to the flu vaccine every year the flu vaccines come out, it is not required for most students in florida as i don't think it should be, it is recommended and you can get it if you like to and if you don't want to, you don't have to. so, i think that is currently what the covid shots would be in florida. >> do you think this is the right move to let the parents to decide? absolutely, once again, governor desantis is doing the right thing. this shot is still being tested. it is nowhere near the level of testing that needs to be done for me to even think about giving this to my children. i would never consider giving something so experimental, quite frankly to my children and i am glad to live in a state where i believe the governor is leading on this issue where he is not commmandating this to be given o young children where we don't know the long-term side effects. once again, governor desantis is right. >> there were 21 states against mandating vaccines and florida is one of them. matt, what do you think about this as a teacher and where do you stand? >> i think once again, governor desantis is a breath of fresh air as we look across the landscape of chaos and control of some of the leaders and democratic led states. he has led with covid and not afraid to stand up against the current. the previous speaker just spoke and i know a lot of parents who are extremely cautious about this vaccine because of recent results medically that we have seen coming out with younger people taking this vaccine and still being in a lot of historically released vaccines, still in the experimental stage and yet, we are seeing it and the cdc recommend to everybody take it as young as infants, again, thank you, governor desantis, for making this a free nation. >> carley: with the midterm elections the florida state race between marco rubio is considered a sleeper race that could decide the senate majority. marco rubio up 4.5 points a lead but not a large one. what do you think about this? do you think deming val demings has a shot here? >> based on the last three election cycles, the polling average is how they skew and miss hitting the republican vote. the idea a governor as popular as desantis at the top of the ticket that val demings candidates showing the polls will lose, it is hard to imagine from my perspective. so i don't see rubio as having a shot of not winning reelection. >> carley: when you look at the issues florida voters say, the concern for them to the economy comes in number one for instance democracy, number two abortion. but do you think abortion will have a significant way, because that is what the democrats are hoping for? >> i know that is what they are hoping for, but they still remain out of touch on what is on the hearts and minds of most americans. we are certainly concerned about the economy. their leader joe biden has driven the economy into the ground and we are on the verge of a new war. and they also have plaintiff sacrificed american children, sacrificed their education who are a special depravity and teaching racism. so i don't -- i know they want abortion and they are trying to push abortion, but that is not on the hearts and minds of most americans. i think we will see a lot of people coming merchants come out against this. so i to urge everyone to go out and vote for their values. >> carley: matt come another interesting poll is biden paying attention to the issues that matter most? 63% of people say they wish he cared more about the issues that matter to them, which is not good for democrats running in the midterm elections. >> no, it is not. i think it has been the case from the beginning, the clear case biden has been out of touch with the heartbeat of the nation. i think there is a very big disconnect between what the biden administration cares about and the normal american people care about. so, whether you talk about abortion or talk about it's not roe v. wade on the ballot, it is the expansion of roe v. wade, it is about the protection act and not codify roe v. wade is expanding the scope of roe v. wade. and so, people -- you need to understand it isn't a radical extreme bill that val demings helped introduce. people need to know facts. so i would recommend people go to the democratic page, look up the democratic platform. we are not just voting for candidates but policies. when you look at the democrat policies, they are extreme to say the least, whether talking about the gender revolution making its way to schools like the previous guest just said or you talk about indoctrination instead of education and activis across the nation and masquerading as teachers, putting their ideology in kids, it is not okay. it is time that voters stand up and say something. >> carley: alex holt, quisha king, matt woodside, thank you. >> you are very welcome. spittoon taxpayers, the migrant shelter only has five people staying there. what is going to happen to all of the x boxes and catered meals and where are the thousands of migrants? >> absolutely, absolutely. we are facing a challenge this winter season. this is going to be a harsh winter on many families with limited income. families and people living on social security checks. they are being put to choose between eating and heating as i call it. right now, the president is claiming the economy is going like hell and i'm not sure what hell he meant but i would like to come to the small businesses and talk to them and hear directly from them how the consumers are being burned by inflation, by high prices on food, and heating this season. >> todd: that would be a good thing if he actually listened, but instead he is woefully misguided on not just all economics, which obviously he is but specifically when it comes to the economics of owning a gas station. take a listen. >speak of company's running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump, bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost who are paying for the product. >> todd: even if you did exactly what joe biden wants and eliminated your profit, literally what we are talking $0.20 per gallon, what is your reaction when you hear president biden speak like that?
