After a year of virtual classes and graduations due to the COVID pandemic, colleges in the Morris County area are finding new ways to bring commencements back to campus next month
St. Elizabeth, Centenary, Drew and Fairleigh Dickinson universities are opting for “modified in-person graduations with limited guest capacity and other COVID-related restrictions. County College of Morris will take it a step further, essentially handing out diplomas by appointment. After last year s, albeit very successful and well-received, virtual commencement, we wanted to give students the opportunity to once again walk across the stage, said St. Elizabeth spokesperson Denise Panyik-Dale.
