Mpumalanga ANC strongman Mandla Msibi has vowed to fight his three years suspension from the party after a provincial disciplinary committee handed him the sanction yesterday.
After it emerged that the Buffalo City Metro splurged nearly R13m on 13 bodyguards for the mayor, deputy mayor and speaker, the DA is taking the council to task once again over security personnel costs for councillors, saying the issue has been shrouded in secrecy. The security costs were revealed in the metro’s annual report for the 2022/2023 financial year.
