Good morning, bill, yeah, its been raping for some time out here. Were at logan circle and ill step out of the way so you can see what is going on out here. Not too many cars or people out and about in center city at this hour, but we do see that rain falling. Its a little bit lighter right now, and of course, as you mentioned, those temperatures are a little bit higher this morning, so that water as it hits the ground is not freezing, at least right now. So, things are looking pretty good out here in terms of that, but it is still wet. The roads are a little slick as we were coming in, so just be careful if you are heading out on the roads. We do see that one vehicle out there just taking it slow, taking it easy, and the folks who are out here, they have the umbrellas, theyve got the hooded jackets, just making sure that they are prepared for the wet weather this morning. And because there are only a few cars out here, hopefully, the traffic situation on the major roads is not too bad ....

It is cold out here, but the good news is, at least it is not freezing, but we do see the vehicles out here taking it extra slow this morning, making sure that they are safe as well, these drivers. Both directions you can see, are pretty clear. Were starting to get a little more volume on the roads but no delays to report just yet. And no accidents on the schuylkill expressway. Same situation on 95. 422 and the route 30 bypass. Lets talk about mass transit. New Jersey Transit, thats okay. Normal schedule today. Amtrak northeast corridor is operating on a modified schedule today and tomorrow because of the cold weather conditions out there. So you will see less frequency of the trains out there. Keep that in mind. Patco is operating on a normal schedule today. And so is septa. V ....
Lets begin with meteorologist bill henley. Bill, that wind is whipping out there again. Yesterday was cold. There was no wind yesterday. Today, a different story. It is a cold wind blowing that is bringing the temperatures down today and will make for very cold air tomorrow. Thats a live view from center city where the winds now are near 25 miles an hour gusting to 24 in wilmington and 30mileanhour gusts in the pocono mountains. So temperatures that are in the teens and below, 16 degrees in philadelphia. 14 in wilmington and 11 in pottstown. With the wind, it feels like three below in pottstown. Three in trenton and one is what it feels like in philadelphia. The forecast is calling for bitter winds. We will see sunshine this start with. 13 at 7 00 but clouds will be blowing in. Some breaks of sunshine. 16 at 9 00. And by lunchtime, not much warmer. Just 18 degrees. And the wind looking just as strong at noon time today.
