Written by Cole Havens on December 30, 2020 It’s been quite the journey for Jonny Williams. Last summer Williams suffered an off-season weight lifting accident which took months to recover from. Williams would be cleared for football activities at the start of August and was cleared to play in his first game three weeks into the season. Williams is now a state champion and was voted to the second team of the Casper Star-Tribune Super 25, recognizing him as one of the top 50 players in the state of Wyoming. Williams was an anchor on both the offensive and defensive lines for Cody Bronc football and talks about receiving such an honor. ....
Written by Cole Havens on December 22, 2020 Cody Bronc football’s Matt McFadden has been selected as one of the Head Coaches for the 48 th annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl. This is the fist time that Coach McFadden will be the head coach for the Shrine Bowl since 2015. McFadden will be the North Team Head Coach. Brent Walk, of Mountain View, has been selected as the South Team Head Coach. The 48 th, 2021 at Cheney Alumni Field at Natrona County High School in Casper, WY. According to the Wyoming Shrine Bowl Executive director, coaches are nominated by other coaches across the state. Both head coaches will now begin the selection process of picking their five assistants. Following that they will build their rosters with players who are nominated by their coaches. ....
