In fact, today should be a mostly dry day aside from very spotty isolated rain chances later in the day. Thats the afternoon and early evening hours. Lets talk about the two confirmed tornadoes that did move through yesterday. Just outside of our viewing area in monmouth county. The first you see the radar return, i have frozen it to 7 21, the time of the report. An ef0 tornado, the lowest level ofato atortornado that is officially recognized. Winds near 75 miles per hour. In allentown city hall a larger scheme, six people close to the mayor pleaded guilty k u including mike fleck. How did they work . In one incidence they said she moved a woman from her job because she did not favor a company because she did not pay to play. And they destroyed her score sheet and changed the numbers so the preferred company won the bid. An entirely rigged process. The popular mayor not stepping down and saying he is continuing his campaign for a fourth term in office. Late this afternoon he said this. I have done nothing wrong. Nor have i ever personally accepted a dime beyond my salary as mayor and not accepted anything but legal cam pennsylvania contributions and no way shape or form was city hall ever up for sale. But the big story is the deep freeze we are stuck with bitter cold conditions for a second straight day and it was an uncomfortable morning for people that had to wait outside or walk to school. Even though theres a snowflake or two, most areas are going to stay dry. Its evaporating as it hits the grounds. Temperatures coming up. 36 degrees. Above freezing in the suburbs. New jersey just above freezing. Interior new jersey, right at freezing for delaware. Clouds, yes. But shower, mostly, you wont see a drop or snowflake this morning.
