Young man dies in road crash in Co Wexford Driver and two other passengers injured in the single car incident about 3 hours ago Updated: 8 minutes ago A 25-year-old man has died after a road crash in Co Wexford on Saturday morning. Emergency services and gardaí were called to the single car traffic collision on the N25 at Drinagh on the Rosslare Road about 1.40am. One of the passengers in the car, a 25-year-old man, was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was also taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries. ....

A man in his 30s has been arrested by gardaí investigating a stabbing incident in Newbridge, Co Kildare on Wednesday. Gardaí attended the scene at Thomas Street at 7.30pm where a man in his 30s was discovered with an apparent stab wound. He was treated at the scene by gardaí and paramedics before he was removed by ambulance to hospital. He is currently receiving treatment in St James’s Hospital where his condition is understood to be serious but stable. ....

A woman who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Co Limerick on Friday has died. The woman, who was in her 40s, had been driving a 4x4 vehicle when it was in collision with a car at about 3pm, just outside Adare. She was taken to University Hospital Limerick where she died on Sunday. The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardaí are investigating and are appealing for any witness, particularly any road users who may have camera or dash-cam footage, to contact gardaí in Newcastle West on 069 20650 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111. ....

A man in his 70s has died following a road crash involving a car and a lorry in Co Mayo on Monday. Gardaí from Ballinrobe Station attended the scene shortly after 11.45am on the R334 at the Neale. The driver of the car, a man in his late 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. The driver of the lorry was taken to University Hospital Mayo for medical assessment, his condition is not known. ....
