From left, Don Domeier, Jim Fischer, Larry Helget, Lynn Krenz. SLEEPY EYE The 39th Annual Sleepy Eye Sportsmen’s Club Fishing Derby will take place with COVID-19 restrictions on Sunday, Feb. 7. The fishing contest will be held from noon to 3 p.m. and is limited to the first 250 individuals. Entry fee is $5 per person and includes door prize eligibility. Registration takes place on the lake and at a number of local businesses. Non-registered fishermen can participate in raffles and fish on their own on the entire lake. ....
