Is to maintain and sustain a business in a block that i am very familiar with because i had a friend that lived at the hotel and i will tell you walking down there yesterday its a vastly improved block. The businesses are looking wonderful, the architecture and the decor and i will turn it over. Good afternoon. I am william biglow and i am the owner of the poor house. Today i am asking permission to legitimize my business and operate as a wine bar and retail store. My place is not the place that has any adverse impact on the community. Go. This is kpix 5 news. Breaking news. Right now entire towns are being evacuated because of an out of control wild fire. Those wild fires more than doubled in size sinsz monday. This one broke out in the mountains southwest of palm springs. Its consuming everything in its path and roaring toward 400 homes. 2200 firefighters are on the front lines tonight including members of the elite hot shots. Flames are so out of control all 6,000 people of the towns are now under mandatory evacways orders. Tom wade is near the fire line tonight. This fire has been burning for several days now. Firefighters have been doing what they can to knock it down, but right now its burned more than 19,000 acres across the area. The good news is there have only been about three jirzlys so far. Firefighters are bringing in the most heavy ma veenly. Try to get this thing knocked down. Try to get these flames out as quickly as possible before more homes are burned.
