The Closed Businesses Lockdown Payment ( CBLP) supports businesses that have been required to close due to the national lockdown that began on 5 January 2021. Eligible businesses may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £9,000 from their local council. Local councils will pay the same businesses that are eligible to receive the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum for the national lockdown period that began on 5 January. Fenland businesses reminded to apply for Covid grants  | Updated: 13:44, 04 February 2021 Fenland businesses which have been impacted by local and national Covid-19 restrictions are being reminded to check if they’re eligible for grant support. Fenland District Council is administering a range of Government business grant schemes via its website at: www.fenland.gov.uk/businessgrants – and is urging businesses to apply before the closing dates. Since the first lockdown last year, the council has distributed more than £24million in funding and made over 2,500 payments to businesses, with over £3million being paid out to businesses since the December restrictions came into force.
