RESTORING pride in Middlewich is a top priority for re-elected Liberal Democrat Cllr Peter Hirst.
The retired hospital physician was very pleased to win 34 per cent of votes in the Cledford by-election.
Pride in the town is very important, said Cllr Hirst, who served as a town councillor for 16 years from 1999-2015.
Middlewich was named as one of the top five places to live in England in 2014. I will do whatever I can do to help the town council keep up the image of the town, tackling litter, creating green spaces and hanging baskets.
The appearance of the town and helping people to have pride in the town is something tangible that we can do. ....
