Funding for traffic calming measures in Bamburgh has been included in budget plans for the coming year. Friday, 22nd January 2021, 7:00 am Northumberland County Council has allocated £30,000 for the work in its provisional Local Transport Plan (LTP) for 2021/22. The news was revealed by Cllr Guy Renner-Thompson after members of Bamburgh Parish Council had expressed frustration at the lack of progress on the issue. He said: “I haven’t had any further update on the plans so we’ll have to wait and see what we get through but we’re moving in the right direction.” Traffic calming measures are planned on the road into Bamburgh. ....
