Police say at least two suspects in this white truck backed into the officer, shots were exchanged, and the first officer went down. 10 minutes later we encountered the same suspect on roberts avenue in fremont a short distance away. During that encounter again we exchanged gunfire with the suspect and another officer was injured. Reporter both officers had been taken to a trauma center.
