Rose Earns Performer of the Week Honors

CLEMSON, S.C. In his first-ever collegiate meet, Cameron Rose ran a 32.90 300m, good for a Clemson program record and the best mark in the nation thus far in the 2021-22 indoor season. It is the 11th-fastest NCAA time ever according to USTFCCCA records and placed less than seven-tenths of a second off the record time. His achievement earned him the ACC's Men's Track Performer of the Week honor. Rose was highly recruited out of Harrisburg, N.C. and is quickly making a name for himself on the college level. The freshman standout figures to be a mainstay on the top stage in the sport for years to come. Thats a great accomplishment and it’s an indication of the kind of athlete he is, remarked a proud Program Director Mark Elliott on the recognition. Tigers Open 2021-22 Indoor Season Strong

CLEMSON, S.C. - Clemson's indoor track season got underway on Friday inside Clemson's Indoor Track and Field Facility where 17 team competed, including two ACC opponents (GT and FSU). The Tigers boasted a strong showing and Program Director Mark Elliott is pleased with what he saw from the team, stating: Overall for a December 3rd meet, it was good. Women's Empowering Student Group Meets for Ice Cream Social – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Clemson Student-Athlete Development creates and fosters growth among all student-athletes, and encourages them to learn to use their voice and celebrate their differences. The group creates a number of safe spaces and programs for student-athletes to further find commonality. Tigers Unite is a student-athlete initiative that includes five diverse affinity groups: The LGBTQ+ community (Athlete Ally), male-identifying student-athletes, international student-athletes, student-athletes of color and Women Empowering (WE). WE is led by Clemson Track and Field student-athletes Harleigh White and Leah Disher. The organization’s goal is to build a space where female athletes can come together to create a community of support and empowerment. Clemson to Host Five Indoor Track Meets

The Clemson Track and Field program has announced its full schedule for the indoor and outdoor seasons. The indoor slate includes seven regular season meets before the ACC and NCAA Championships, highlighted by five meets to be held at Clemson's Indoor Track & Field Complex. The first meet of the season will be the Clemson Opener, taking place on December 3. The Orange and Purple Elite and Clemson Invite will occur on back-to-back weekends, Jan. 8 and Jan. 14-15. The Tigers will return home for the Bob Pollock Meet on Jan. 28-29, followed by the final home meet of the season, the Tiger Paw Invite from Feb. 11-12.
