A pair of Razorback newcomers established world leading times with a pair of victories Friday during the Arkansas Invitational. Sophomore transfer Sanu Jallow became the third fastest collegian ever in the 600m while freshman newcomer Shawnti Jackson moved to No. 10 on the world U20 400m list.
A trio of Razorback alums – Taliyah Brooks, Shafiqua Maloney and Carina Viljoen – claimed victories in the Trackwired Arkansas Grand Prix held Friday at John McDonnell Field.
Razorback Britton Wilson, who adorns the cover of Track & Field News magazine this month, repeated her 400m and 400m hurdles double from the SEC Championships, but did so in a shorter time frame between races to conclude the NCAA West preliminary rounds on Saturday with a pair of meet records.
