MERIDEN — City Manager Tim Coon couldn’t accept a raise last September because of the economic impact of coronavirus, he said Monday.
“I thought it would be most appropriate [to consider receiving a raise] when we are outside the pandemic and we know what the economy looks like,” Coon said. ....
