Who doesn’t love a great doughnut? Connecticut has welcomed a bunch of new and creative shops in the past several months, so we’re revisiting some of the state’s best.

Hell’s Kitchen chef Van Hurd is the face of this new project from Hartford Baking Co.’s founders, with a menu of doughnuts, egg sandwiches and coffee in the morning that gives way to fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and hearty sides for lunch and dinner.
