MEDINA — A three-time ex-con was arrested after he led police on a high-speed chase through two counties late Thursday night, village police said.
Village officers were called to the 800 block of South Main Street for report of suspicious activity. When officers arrived, a car took off and refused to stop.
Orleans County sheriff’s deputies and state police joined the pursuit, which went into Niagara County and then back into Orleans.
The driver of the car crashed into a fence off Dublin Road, near Fruit Avenue in the town of Ridgeway.
Three people were in the car and two took off on foot, police said. ....
