They provide another set of messages about whos capable of the School Context and whos not. One example of that became embedded in the School Environment is that the school is about 45 white and about 41 africanamerican and about 8. 5 latino. But the honor level track and ap level track of the sort of privileged context of the school were 80 and 90 white. So less than 50 white students but the classes that are the high start classes in the schools were prominently white people in the Community Talk about the fact you come committed to school the students mingle in the hallways and you see them talking to each other and they go to class and go separate ways and you can walk down the hall and and see the difference between a regular class and honors and advanced placement where mostly white students find themselves.
