feel good today, as they should, that they got something done, there is no doubt they have a huge sales effort on this particular legislation with the american people, but believe me, paul ryan is aware having republican president at 35% and having a generic congressional ballot where minus 18, that is a potential democratic wave building. and this bill alone is not going to save that off. so last question then, to you, crystal, democrats will jump all over that. and we have already heard we saw nancy pelosi hand chuck schuman saying this is great for rich people and trump tower senator schumer put it earlier, and the fact we are not totally sure where the president signs this thing into law, there is a possibility he signs it down at mar-a-lago, that s what jim acosta was saying a minute ago, you can already see the democrats saying, great, helps the rich get richer and signs it at his ritzcy club in florida.
said he has already made that charge to congress. of course, that is the program through which the terror suspect entered the united states back in 2010. it essentially allows for 50,000 permanent visas every year, and it prioritizes those who are coming in from low immigration countries. there are some requirements that those have to meet who get in through that program. for example, they have to have some high school education. they can t have a criminal background. but the president says it doesn t go far enough. he wants to see a merit-based system and that largely focuses on high-skilled workers. the president took this chance not only to call for tougher immigration policies but to hit democrats for what he characterizes as their weak immigration policies, and senate minority leader chuck schuman in particular. he also reported getting rid of
