Sharon Har certainly knew the penalties and consequences of drinking and driving when she was arrested the night of
Feb. 22 after
Honolulu police found her alone in her 2019 Mercedes-Benz, pointed in the head-on direction of one-way traffic traveling on busy
South Beretania Street at
In March 2007 14 years ago Har survived a horrendous crash on
Fort Barrette Road that totaled her Mercedes when a 23-year-old driver with two previous drunken driving cases slammed into her. The other driver was not allowed to be driving and faced a third drunken driving case for the crash.

She said in a statement emailed by attorney that she s been taking prescription cough medicine with codeine to control symptoms of upper respiratory illness
However, when stopped by police she reportedly told them she wasn t taking any prescribed medication and refused to take a sobriety test
During the arrest one officer said Har began asking if I knew who she is Sharon then related that she was going to be the next governor but this will mess up her plans, the police report claims
Har was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A damaging new police report says state Rep. Sharon Har âsmelled of alcoholâ during her drunken driving arrest on Monday night, yelled âBlack Lives Matterâ at officers and told them she was going to be the next governor.
The 52-year-old lawmaker was arrested about 10:20 p.m. Monday after police saw her driving in the wrong direction in the center lane of Beretania Street, which is a one-way street.
