A special House committee wrapped up its investigation into state Representative Sharon Har. They found that Har did not abuse her official position during a DUI arrest in 2021.
Honolulu police arrested state Rep Sharon Har, 52, at 10.20pm on February 23
She said in a statement emailed by attorney that she s been taking prescription cough medicine with codeine to control symptoms of upper respiratory illness
However, when stopped by police she reportedly told them she wasn t taking any prescribed medication and refused to take a sobriety test
During the arrest one officer said Har began asking if I knew who she is Sharon then related that she was going to be the next governor but this will mess up her plans, the police report claims
Har was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant
