May 27, 2021 Record Number Of Seminoles Wrap Up NCAA Championship Individual Play
Tallahassee, FL – Florida State sent four student-athletes to the NCAA Individual Championships, the most in program history, and also set the program record for the number of All-America honors secured with three. Giulia Pairone was seeded in the NCAA Tournament Singes Championship and joined in singles competition by Emmanuelle Salas. Nandini Das and Andrea Garcia competed in the NCAA Doubles Championships.
Garcia and Das advanced to the quarterfinals as one of eight doubles pairs remaining in title contention equaling the furthest any FSU doubles team has advanced in the NCAA Tournament in program history. The only other pair of Seminoles to advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals previously were Audra Brannon and Laura Randmaa in 1993.
