Fate of Day County Ambulance Service Remains in Question after New Year

Rural Day County residents may find themselves without an ambulance service at the end of the year if an agreement isnât reached between the Day County Commissioners and Christensen Ambulance Service.Â Mark ChristensenÂ has owned the service in Day County for the last 42 years.Â This year he has asked the county commission for $50,500 to provide emergency ambulance service to the residents of the county and city of Webster, but he said, the commissioners have told him they will not be renewing the contractâ¦â¦Â
