OROVILLE, Calif. - Oroville city council unanimously voted to appoint Chris Tenns as Acting Fire Chief.
The city council agreed the appointment of Chief Tenns is part of a process to split the fire and police departments as they were combined for financial purposes. At this time, the financial means are available to have the fire department s own chief.
