3 3 todays weather to blame for a fire call in morningside earlier this afternoon. Lightning struck the chimney of a home in the 49 hundred block of morningside avenue at around 1 30 this afternoon. Fire crews responded after the homeowner reported smoke in her attic. They found damage to the chimney and some minor scorch marks to the top of the home. A woman and her son were home at the time.
