Iloilo’s Christopher “Ping” Hurich has scored a nomination from the Asia Skateboarding Awards for Fast Feet, a category that looks at the precision in speed and space used by the feet to execute multiple tricks. The Iloilo representative in local and national skateboarding competitions was nominated for the category on January 9, 2021, after first receiving a general nomination in December 2020 for the inaugural Asia Skateboarding Awards. The two-time champion of the Vans National Go Skateboarding Day in 2016 and 2019 was seen in a nominees’ highlights video on Asia Skateboarding Awards social media, alongside some of the most well known and talented skaters in Asia.
