Tonight ktvus Cristina Rendon is in berkeley where the crash happened. Reporter i just checked with police and they say the bicyclist is in critical condition. He is in his 60s. This intersection opened three hours ago and people have been very cautious driving through here however they say people say an accident between a bicycle and say a driver is something that was inevitable. Crash that happened in seconds turned this neighborhood into a crime scene for hours. Police say a bicyclist traveling southbound on spruce street collided with a car around 8 15 a. M. This morning.

At least two people are dead following an Apartment Fire in oakland. The fire started just before 4 00 inside a large building that used to be a warehouse on 24th street. This location is very close to interstate 980. Flames quickly spread to an aja adjacent building at around 3 40 this morning. Both buildings share an attic. Fire Officials Say the flames forced more than 30 people from their homes. No word yet on how the fire started.
