David Brown on Monday released new information in the department s narrative of the fatal police shooting of Adam Toledo, detailing why the 13-year-old wasn t identified for two days but declining to say whether or not the boy was holding the gun recovered at the scene, even as Mayor Lori Lightfoot repeatedly vowed to find the person responsible for putting that gun in Adam s hands.
