Attorneys who have achieved 50 years in the practice, even if they spent part of their careers in other states, can be recognized for their dedication and service.
The Florida Bar will recognize veteran lawyers during a luncheon at The Florida Bar’s Annual Convention, tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 11, at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. Both 50-year members of The Florida Bar and senior counselors will be recognized at the luncheon. Should the in-person luncheon be postponed or cancelled, eligible veteran lawyers will still be recognized in print.
The senior counselor program, which was recommended by the Out-of-State Division, recognizes current active and inactive Florida Bar members who have practiced law for 50 years or more and have not previously been recognized by The Florida Bar for this accomplishment. SALT LAKE CITY – A new collaboration between the Diocese of Salt Lake City, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Judge Memorial Catholic High School will provide extended opportunities for middle-school grade students.
The two schools are adjacent to each other. As part of the diocesan strategic plan, Our Lady of Lourdes Middle School Academy will begin operating at Judge for the 2021-22 school year, serving seventh- and eighth-grade students. Sixth-graders are tentatively scheduled to be added to the academy in the 2022-23 school year.
