[applause] has he beamed his witness dom towards us last night, president obama told us that isil was not islamic. you mean the islamic state is not islamic. doubtless if he had been around at the time of the spanish inquisition he would have told us the pope wasn t catholic. do you consider that this latest intellectual is further evidence that he has adopted the arab narrative, and as such, isil will never be defeated i think obama demonstrated, by saying nothing and doing nothing, while half a million christians were expelled from their homes or slaughtered, that he is no christian. [applause] no christian. and i believe that i believe that he identifies with the islamic world, not with america. [applause] interesting that you mention that. in a poll taken a couple of years ago, 17% of the american public thought he was muslim, 36% believed he was christian, but nobody believed he was jewish. i had personal reasons for being interested in bill cosby, but as a journalist i was also fascinated by him as sort of a figure in our cultural and social history. not only as a pioneer, somebody who opened doors again and again, really the first comedian to not be labeled just a negro comedian. the first star of african-american star of primetime television. pioneer of children s television, with his early guest appearances on sesame street and the electric company, and then fat albert. most successful, if you all remember advertising, pitchman in the country, in the 70s and 80s, jello ads and coca-cola and ford and so forth and that was before the cosby show. but then, as you all know, in the last after a career where he did not bring race and politics into his comedy, and onwas criticized for that, in the last ten years he has become very outspoken and controversial for strong stances he has taken in the black community that he sees as destructive. i wanted to know, whe

cut off funding to these terrorist groups, and, two, trying to develop essentially counternarrative for young people growing up in the muslim world, to vote for freedom and opportunity, and the moderate world and not go for violence and extremism. and i m really glad it started with a couple of americans but we now have a former ambassador from pakistan to the u.n., former head of spell generals from germany, and i think we ll surprise people with the support we re going to get from within the arab world, which is now understanding that they are the first targets of these extremeis, whether iran or isis. and i know president obama made it clear. that needs to be a lot more support from that part of the world. i think one of the most significant things to happen in this fight against our most serious threat to our security, is the fact that saudi arabia, qatar, bahrain, uae and jordan, flew at part of the first air attacks on isis and n syria. some of them fracturely the
