And a new survey of pharmacists shows the recent drug shortages in the u.s. are negatively impacting patient care. a third say it s critical and leading to rationing and delaying or canceling treatments and procedures. meg terrell has more. these drug shortages affect all different kinds of medicines. but in the survey of the american society of pharcis, they talked to,100 members and by far the category that was affected most by critical shortages were chemo drugs. these are drugs to treat kanser. 57% of the pharmacists in the survey said the drug shortages are at critical levels. these are crucial drugs to treat or even cure many forms of cancer. the fact that they are at critical levels means that these health care systems are having to ration care or delay or even cancel procedures for patients. now there were other categories of medicines also facing high ....
