A parking lot on north graham street around 11 20 last night. Gunfire was exchanged between two cars and one person was shot in the arm. Police still are not sure of their condition this morning. Were asking if police have any suspects. Also breaking overnight, the homeowners dog from this home, they woke up the homeowner and helped them escape a fire at this gastonia house. Officials say an electrical malfunction in the homes heating system caused the fire. Crews responded around 12 45 this morning. They found smoke coming from the home and a fire in the kitchen. Crews put out the fire in about ten minutes but by then it cost 10,000 in damage. Large tree that is across the road right now. It has been done since about 10 30 last night and as you can see, police are making sure drivers dont go into that area. You can see they have it blocked off until crews can get out there to remove the tree. Traffic team 9s mark taylor monitoring the situation. They have alternate routes for us just ahead.
