good morning, everyone. it is friday, yes, it s friday, december 17. i m sydnie kohara. i m robert lyles. time now, 5 a.m. heavy rain and snow. this is the first wave of a storm that s just arrived here in the bay area. let s go to tracy humphrey standing by in the pinpoint weather center with this weekend s forecast. the best thing about this forecast is probably that it s a friday. that s the only thing that s positive about it. plenty of rainfall coming in. this is the first wave. rainfall expected to be in the forecast for this morning. also for the afternoon as well as through the weekend. some of that rainfall again will be heavy at times. the yellow and orange that you see are pockets of heaviest rainfall moving into san francisco, oakland and juts out side of the hayward area. that s going to be the drill for today. showers will eventually move into widespread rainfall and again some will be heavy and we also are looking at a batch of rainfall moving into ....
