Final stretch of the uninner belt bridge construction project. There is a big step scheduled for later today and heres Sarah Phinney with our story. Reporter right now, odot cant say when the second bridge will reopen, but a spokeswoman tells us that the rest of the construction really depends on weather. Lets talk about what is happening tonight. The crews will be working from 8 00 p. M. To 6 00 a. M. Pouring the deck, the surface and its the seventh and final pour. Its also important to that even when the bridge opens this fall, only two of the five lanes will be used. Odot needs about six weeks to unwind the detours and that means opening up ramps, redoing access from 176 north to the inner belt, and making changes on 490 and 77. There is a lot of work to be done after we open the bridge. And so, we do plan on having all lanes quote in the later fall.
