It was less than a year ago that the nfl settled the case over concussion risks. This time hundreds of retired players charged the league illegally supplied them with risky drugs that led to addiction, and some say they were never told about serious injuries. Omar villafranca has our report. Reporter eight player are named in the lawsuit including former San Francisco 49er Jeremy Newberry. Im 49 years old and i have kidney problems from playing football. Reporter newberry, who also worked as an analyst for station kpix said he received injections to numb injuries during the majority of his injuries during his career.
