Police commissioner encourages cops to get COVID-19 vaccine

Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson, is encouraging all police officers to get vaccinated in an effort to be protected from COVID-19, as they carry out their duties.  Anderson received his first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on Friday. He was among several police officers vaccinated on the day, as the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) began its COVID-19 vaccination roll-out at the National Police College of Jamaica (NPCJ) in St. Catherine. According to the JCF, Anderson has encouraged all members of the police force to use the present window of opportunity to get the COVID-19 vaccine.  Outside of health care workers. as a group, I think the JCF is probably the most exposed after that, the senior lawmen and former military officer stated.
