LC s Bradley, Muehlhausen pick up weekly conference awards

Trystan Bradley Bradley, a Lewiston native, averaged 20.4 points per game and nearly 7 rebounds as the 7thh ranked Warriors went 4-and-1 during a 7 day road trip. The senior post scored a career-high 30 points in a win over William Jessup. Sara Muhelhausen Muehlhausen had the best game of her career on Saturday when she helped the Warrior women to a non-conference victory over the College of Idaho. She posted a career-high 14 points to go with six rebounds, a block and a steal. The Hayden, Idaho native shot 5-for-8 from the field and was 4-for-5 from the free throw. Both LC teams are back in action at home this weekend. The Warrior women host Simpson University in a two-game set Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 2pm, while the LC men host in-state rival College of Idaho Saturday at 5pm. LC s Mitchell, Johnson claim weekly Cascade Conference awards

Damek Mitchell Mitchell, a senior point guard from Bellingham, Washington, helped lead the 7th ranked Warrior men to a pair of close wins on the road over 18th ranked NCAA Division 3 Whitworth last weekend. Mitchell averaged 14 points per game, along with 6-and-a-half rebounds and 4-and-a-half assists in the two victories. In the process, he joined the program’s top 10 in all-time scoring with 1,091 points. Johnson, a senior forward from Cashmere, Washington won her first ever conference award after averaging a double-double in the Warriors’ two-game split with 6th ranked Carroll College over the weekend. She averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds over the two-game set.
